Maiden Voyage

Maiden Voyage

Maiden Voyage

Because most women have narrower shoulders, shorter torsos, and curvier hips than men, it can be difficult to find a backpack that really fits. Designed for the female frame, Eagle Creek’s Maiden Voyage has a contoured, padded hip belt (adjustable from 28 to 50”) that relieves hip bone pressure, a sternum strap that adjusts across the chest for improved carrying comfort, and narrower, curved shoulder straps that are positioned closer together. You can also adjust the torso length (from 15” to 19”) for a custom fit. Effectively distributing weight from the back and shoulders, the suspension system is constructed with ergonomically shaped foam and a removable frame sheet with a dual curved stay. The large main compartment has a U-shaped opening for easy packing, and a second lower compartment keeps boots, shoes or dirty laundry separate from the rest of your gear. Inside the zip-off daypack is a Safeguard organizer pocket, accessible only to the wearer, that keeps valuables safely concealed. External pockets offer quick access to travel documents, maps, and reading materials, and exterior hydration pockets hold large water bottles. Made of tough Cordura nylon with padded top and side handles. (Main bag: 4350 cubic inches; 14 x 26 x 10”; Daypack: 1200 cubic inches; 12 x 18 x 7”; 6 lb, 4 oz total weight)
